Sales and Marketing Manager

Job Specification
We are seeking a dynamic intellectual to join our team as a Sales and Marketing Manager. The incumbent will be responsible for planning, leading and strategising dotTech’s sales/marketing activities towards becoming the premier ICT training and consulting company across the Caribbean. He/she will also be mandated to aid in the development of a strong dotTech brand, high quality of service and a cohesive and goal-oriented sales team that will serve corporate Jamaica and the Caribbean.

Role

  • Improve marketability of products and services.
  • Create and maintain a high level of visibility and awareness of products and services within the market.
  • Ensure dotTech’s quality of service through measurement and reporting on client satisfaction.
  • Maintain dotTech’s competitiveness in the marketplace through innovation, strategy and good guidance.
  • Extend and maintain dotTech’s presence across the Caribbean business community.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Management of resources, skills and talents assigned to the department.
  • Management of product and service performance.
  • Develop strategies to ensure increased market penetration.
  • Niche market identification and pursuit.
  • New market creation and coordination of market research activities.
  • Business development.
  • Develop and maintain quality assurance procedures to ensure consistent quality delivery of product/service to ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Plan and implement sales and marketing promotions and campaigns.
  • Develop annual and quarterly sales and marketing plans/strategies based on company’s goals and direction and make submissions for approval.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A Bachelor of Science in Marketing, Administration or equivalent.
  • A minimum of two (2) years experience serving in a marketing/sales capacity.
  • A minimum of two (2) years experience serving in a management capacity.
  • Proven track record of successes in creating visibility.
  • Sound knowledge/experience of sales cycle.
